Acreage provides a platform where investors can start their investments using a micro-investment strategy of as low as 1 token worth $1000 CAD. It helps investors spread their inherent investment risk over multiple properties and diversify their real estate investment portfolio.

Business Overview

The ultimate goal of this project is to utilize a decentralised blockchain platform to bring transparency and efficiency in the real estate services our client provides.

Acreage aims to digitise real estate properties with blockchain development solutions.

It includes token development, a decentralised listing of real estate properties so that the system can make it possible for the buyers to invest in the portion of properties and sellers to sell portions of their properties.

The Challenge

The real challenge was to build a system that refines the way people market, search for, buy, sell and invest in real estate properties.

Another underlying challenge was to challenge the status quo. As we know, most or all real estate transactions are often conducted offline involving face-to-face engagements with various entities.

Acreage, real estate blockchain project, provides a technology to split a real-estate asset into micro asset tokens, with each token having a predetermined fixed dollar value.

Multiple Investors

These micro asset tokens can be bought by either single or multiple investors wherein the real estate investors will share a piece of the asset, in the proportion of their investment.

Tradeable

The portions of the properties will be called tokens (or micro asset tokens) and will be available on the official website of Acreage; and, would be traded with both fiat and cryptocurrencies
